District Brew Yards

District Brew Yards is the first of its kind in the nation to house a production brewery collective, pour-your-own beer hall, and shop under one roof, right here in Chicago’s Brewing District. Past work includes facility signage, flyers, electronic media, to tap wall logos.

The Fourth Wall

At Plum Rabbit Design, we were tasked with creating a logo for the fourth tap wall in the brewery. District Brew Yards required a design that would represent a collaborative space where full-time brewers at the facility could team up with homebrewers in the community to showcase their unique creations. Inspired by the concept of "breaking the fourth wall," we developed a logo that invites customers to view the reflection of the entire taproom in the center of the sign. The resulting design was visually striking, effectively communicating the spirit of collaboration that the client was looking for. Plum Rabbit Design takes pride in our ability to bring our client's visions to life through creative design solutions that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly effective.

Signage & Weekly Calendar

Plum Rabbit Design was responsible for designing a weekly calendar format for District Brew Yards, in addition to creating facility signage. We worked closely with the teams in the brewery, restaurant, and offices throughout the facility to ensure that the events were updated weekly and accurately reflected the activities happening on-site. The resulting calendar is posted throughout the establishment, making it easy for customers to stay informed about upcoming events and activities.

Sweatshirts

In collaboration with one of the breweries on-site, Burnt City, we talked to brewery staff and took note of what customers might be interested in. Multiple sweatshirt designs were presented for the upcoming seasons. These designs are representative of a specific art style but illustrations can be altered to accommodate all types of interests in terms of design.

Catering Trifold

At District Brew Yards, the kitchen serves up delicious BBQ to complement their wide variety of craft beers. To help customers plan their catering orders, Plum Rabbit Design created a trifold brochure that showcases all of the available options. Our design seamlessly integrates the establishment's signature aesthetic, featuring exposed brick walls, light wood tables, and references to the four different breweries located on-site.
