During the pandemic, the challenge of creating both digital and in-person promotional materials transformed into an opportunity to redefine their voice. The result is a fresh, engaging communication style that resonates with the temple’s members and broader community, bringing their traditions into the 21st century with vibrancy and impact.

Membership Renewal Video

This video was created as a collaborative effort between departments to capture the emotions of Temple Sholom’s members during their membership renewal campaign. Through skilled video editing, the project resulted in a piece that engaged not only members but also those in the surrounding community. The temple experienced an increase in donations, heightened interest in membership, and staff members felt a stronger connection with their community after publishing this video.


Weekly eBlasts

Temple Sholom sends out a weekly eBlast featuring upcoming events, including times, links, and descriptions. With a wide array of classes and participation opportunities, this digital communication ensures all congregants stay informed through an interactive platform.

A recent redesign streamlined the content, ensuring that new events were promoted weekly and preventing congregants from skipping over repetitive information. A dedicated featured section at the top now highlights the most important congregational events or opportunities for engagement with clergy.

This redesign led to a significant increase in open rates, rising from 42% to 63%, helping Temple Sholom better connect with and engage its community.
